Survey on the current situation of the requirements of training of lCU nurse specialists in Shandong province
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the current situation of the requirements of training of ICU nurse specialists in Shandong province in order to provide theoretical basis for the training of ICU nurse specialist and clinical continuing education. Methods:A questionnaire sur-vey was conducted to investigate 167 nurses who attended the training course sponsored by Nursing Society of Shandong Province. Results:18. 6% of the investigated nurses did not received any relevant training before they attended the ICU training course;90. 4% of the nurses thought the knowledge they had could not meet the clinical needs of ICU service;ICU nurses had a high demand for knowledge of first -aid,monitoring techniques,prevention and control of hospital infection. Conclusion:It is necessary to set up reasonable curriculum of pro-fessional training and improve the level of the professional training for the ICU nurse specialists.
