Application of clinical nursing pathway based on evidence - based nursing theory in patients with gastrointestinal surgery

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of clinical nursing pathway based on evidence - based nursing theory in patients with gastrointestinal surgery. Methods:120 patients with gastrointestinal surgery were randomly divided into the control group and the obser-vation group(60 cases in each group). The traditional nursing method was used in the control group;the clinical nursing pathway was a-dopted under the guidance of evidence - based nursing theory in the observation group. The patientsˊ conditions were observed in the two groups after surgery. Results:The postoperative anal exhaust time,hospitalization time and ambulation time was shorter and earlier in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05);the incidence of postoperative complications was lower in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05);the postoperative scores of SDS,SAS and VAS were lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P < 0. 05);the satisfaction rate of the patients was higher in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The clinical nursing pathway based on evidence - based nursing theory can effectively reduce the postoperative complications and improve patient satisfaction and prognosis.
