Effect of CNP on cognitive function and quality of life of patients with intracranial aneurysm treated with coil embolization
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of clinical nursing pathway(CNP)on the cognitive function and quality of life of patients with intracranial aneurysm treated with coil embolization. Methods:50 patients with intracranial aneurysms were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(25 cases in each group). The patients in both groups were treated with coil embolization under general anesthesia. The routine nursing care was taken in the control group and CNP was implemented in the observation group. The differ-ences of the scores of ADL,MMES and LOTCA were compared between the two groups in one week and one month after operation. The scores of SF - 36 were compared between the two groups in month after operation. Results:The differences of the scores of ADL,MMES and LOTCA were bigger in the observation group than those in the control group(P < 0. 05);the scores of SF - 36 were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:Implementation of CNP can significantly improve the cognitive func-tion and quality of life of the patients in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms with coil embolization.
