A study on the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in hospital infection control

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in hospital infection control in the general hospitals at the level of grade III. Methods:The patients who were hospitalized in a certain general hospital from January 2011 to December 2013 were selected and the comprehensive nursing intervention model was implemented,the effect of prevention and control of hospital infection was observed within the three years. Results:The test scores of theory of nurses increased year by year within the three years ( P<0. 05,P<0. 01);The qualification rate of disinfection,sterilization,awareness of hand hygiene knowledge and hand hygiene increased year by year within the three years (P<0. 05);the comparison of hospital infection rate was significantly different within the three years (P<0. 05). Conclusion:The comprehensive nursing intervention model is one of the effective methods in reducing the hospital infection.
