Application of network platform tracking management in the extended nursing care of patients with gestational diabetes mel itus

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of networK platform tracKing management in the extended nursing care of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus ( GDM) . Methods:108 pregnant women with GDM in the outpatient department were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group (54 cases in each group). The patients in the control group were given routine health edu-cation;the networK platform tracKing management liKe alert service and QQ group was adopted in the observation group. The awareness of health Knowledge,the level of fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 h blood glucose and HbA1 c,the incidence of maternal and fetal compli-cations were monitored before and after tracKing management with networK platform. Results:The awareness of health Knowledge and the level of fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 h blood glucose and HbA1 c were significantly better and lower in the observation group than those in the control group after the management (P<0. 05);the incidence of maternal polyhydramnios,premature rupture of membranes ( PROM) and macrosomia significantly decreased after the management. Conclusion:Application of networK platform tracKing management can improve the treatment compliance and self-management ability of pregnant women with GDM. The platform can also provide individu-alized nursing care,corresponding information and emotional support and new management strategy of the extended nursing care.
