Analysis of coping style and individual factors in patients with rectal cancer after surgical resection
Abstract:Objective:To investigate and analyze the coping style and individual factors of patients with rectal cancer after surgical re-section in order to provide a theoretical basis for nursing intervention on the postoperative patients. Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate 186 patients with fistulation by personal information questionnaire and medical coping style questionnaire,and the results were statistically analyzed by SPSS17. 0 software. Results:The scores of avoidance and yielding of the postoperative patients were higher than the norm after fistulation(P < 0. 05);the difference in the comparison of the scores of positive confrontation with the norm was not statistically significant(P > 0. 05);the coping style liKe avoidance and yielding affected by the individual factors of gender,age,marital status,educational level,residential areas,family income and years of fistulation(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The emotional support,related health education and individualized intervention should be given to the patients so as to help them positively cope with the disease and fol-low the advice of doctors and nurses in the treatment.
