Effect of family rehabilitation guidance on the quality of life of children with retinopathy after surgery
Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of family rehabilitation guidance on the quality of life of children with retinal diseases. Methods:80 patients with retinopathy were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(40 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was taKen in the control group and the family rehabilitation guidance was additionally implemented in the observa-tion group. The anxiety,depression and quality of life of the patients were evaluated by HADS and NEI - VFQ - 25(Chinese version)and the change of visual acuity and intraocular pressure of the patients was analyzed in the two groups before and after the intervention. Re-sults:The scores of anxiety and depression of the patients were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P <0. 05);the scores of quality of life of the patients liKe general health,overall vision,eye pain,near visual acuity,distant visual acuity,psy-chological problems,social function,social activities,dependence,color vision and peripheral vision were significantly higher in the obser-vation group than the control group after the intervention(P < 0. 05);the improvement of visual acuity and intraocular pressure significantly improved after the intervention in the observation group compared with the control group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The family rehabilitation guidance can effectively relieve the anxiety and depression of patients with retinopathy and improve the quality of life and vision of the pa-tients.
