Effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the life quality and satisfaction of patients with gastroesophageal reflux

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on the life quality and satisfaction of patients with gastroesophage-al reflux. Methods:84 patients with gastroesophageal reflux were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group(42 cases in each group). The patients in the control group received routine treatment and nursing care;the patients in the experimental group were given comprehensive nursing intervention based on the routine one. The scores of SAS and SDS,24-hour esophageal pH monitoring ( DeMeester)and satisfaction of the patients were compared between the two groups at baseline and 8 weeks after treatment. Results:The scores of SAS,SDS and DeMeester were significantly lower in the experimental group than the control group after treatment(P<0. 05);the satisfaction rate of the patients with the treatment effect was significantly higher in the experimental group than the control group( P<0. 05). Conclusion:The nursing intervention can significantly improve the psychological status,quality of life and satisfaction of patients with gastroesophageal reflux.
