Abstract:Objective:To investigate the behavior of junior nurses and analyze the influencing factors in the protection of chemotherapy in the general hospitals at the level of grade III class A in Xiˊan City in order to provide theoretical basis for improving occupational protec-tion level against chemotherapy. Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate 402 junior nurses and the influencing factors were analyzed. Results:The investigated junior nurses in this group were 24. 08 ± 3. 06)years old. The scores of occupational protection behavior against chemotherapy were 10 to 68(48. 47+10. 60)points. The main influencing factors included age,years of exposure to che-motherapeutic drugs,occasion of exposure to chemotherapeutic drugs,protection facility and frequency of training each year(P<0. 01,P<0. 05). Conclusion:Nursing managers should take the targeted measures to enhance the occupational protection behavior of junior nurses so as to improve the occupational protection level.
