Application of the bundle of intervention strategies in the prevention of VAP in lCU patients
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of application of the bundle of intervention strategies in the prevention of ventilator asso-ciated pneumonia(VAP)in ICU patients. Methods:120 patients in ICU of the hospital were divided into the experimental group(n=60) and the control group(n=60)according to the sequence number. The patients in the experimental group were provided the bundle of inter-vention strategies and the patients in the control groups were given routine nursing care. The duration of mechanical ventilation,hospitaliza-tion time and the incidence of VAP were compared between the two groups. Results:The duration of MV,hospitalization time and the inci-dence of VAP were shorter and less in the experimental group than the control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion:The bundle of intervention strategies is more conducive to the prevention of VAP than routine nursing care.
