Application of whole course nursing intervention in the treatment of patients with MDR pulmonary tuberculosis
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application effect of nursing intervention in the treatment of patients with multi-drug resistant ( MDR)pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods:130 selected patients with MDR pulmonary tuberculosis divided into the observation group and the control group(65 cases in each group)according to the nursing model. The patients in both groups were treated with interventional therapy with electronic bronchoscope. The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were provided the whole nursing intervention, the nursing effect was compared between the two groups. Results:The treatment compli-ance and quality of life of the patients was significantly better in the observation group than the control group(P<0. 05);the incidence of complications was lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0. 05);the sputum negative conversion rate and lesion ab-sorption rate in 6th,9th and 12th month were higher in the observation group than the control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion:The whole course nursing intervention can ensure the smooth implementation of the therapy and significantly improve patientˊs treatment compliance and life quality in the treatment of patients with MDR pulmonary tuberculosis by using interventional therapy with electronic bronchoscope.
