Analysis of the correlation between work environment & psychological empowerment and subjective wel - being of nurses

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the influence of work environment and psychological empowerment on the subjective well being of nurses. Methods:The work environment scale,psychological empowerment scale,job satisfaction scale and Campbell subjective well being scale were used to make an evaluation on 200 nurses aged from 20 to 40 years old in a certain hospital at the level of grade III class A. Re-sults:The results of evaluation showed that the overall sense of well being is not high and it is correlated with job satisfaction(r = 0. 620, P < 0. 01). Conclusion:The hospital manager should improve the subjective well being of the nurses through improving the work environ-ment and reasonable psychological empowerment.
