Abstract:Objective:To develop the bundle intervention strategies to control weight gain of patients with schizophrenia after medication and analyze its application effect. Methods:88 patients with first - episode schizophrenia in our hospital were selected as the object of study. Of them 46 patients(from December 2012 to July 2013)were taken as the control group and the other 42 patients(from August 2013 to March 2014)were taken as the experimental group. The routine control measures of body weight were taken in the control group;the devel-oped bundle intervention was implemented in the experimental group. The compliance of nurses and the BMI of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:The compliance of nurses was better in the experimental group than the control group(P < 0. 05);the av-erage value of BMI in the 4th and 8th week after implementation of the control measures was lower in the experimental group than the con-trol group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The bundle intervention measures can improve the compliance of nurses and ensure the timely imple-mentation of nursing measures so as to effectively control weight gain of patients with schizophrenia after medication.
