Abstract:Objective:To discuss the effect of nursing intervention on self - efficacy and relapse of epistaxis in hypertensive patients. Methods:70 hypertensive patients with epistaxis were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group(35 cases in each group). The patients in the control group were given holistic nursing care while they received conventional hemostasis and medication;the patients in the experimental group were provided nursing intervention on enhancement of self - efficacy. The intervention lasted 6 months, and then the self - efficacy, the control of blood pressure and the re - bleeding rate were compared between the two groups. Results:The self - efficacy of the patients in the experimental group is better than the control group after the intervention, the average blood pressure and re - bleeding rate of the patients was lower in the experimental group than the control group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The nursing intervention on the self - efficacy of the patients based on hemostasis and drug treatment is helpful to control blood pressure and reduce the re - bleeding rate.
