Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of clinical nursing path(CNP)on the conditions and quality of life of patients with chro-nic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD). Methods:400 COPD patients who returned to community after discharge were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group(200 cases in each group). The patients in the intervention group received nursing care of CNP and the patients in the control group were given routine nursing care in community. The indexes of patient's lung function were meas-ured including FEV1,FVC,PEF and BMI,6MWT were monitored, the quality of life of the patients was evaluated by using CAT before and after the nursing care, and the satisfaction rate was surveyed after nursing care. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of FEV1,FVC and PEF between the two groups after nursing care(P < 0. 05);BMI and 6MWT in the intervention group was significantly higher than the control group(P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01);the CAT score was significantly lower than the control group(P < 0. 01);the satisfaction rate of nursing care was significantly higher in the intervention group than the control group(P < 0. 01). Conclusion:Nursing care of CNP can effectively improve the lung function of COPD patients in community and improve their quality of life and health level.
