Effect of high quality nursing service on the compliance of breastfeeding in the patients carrying HBV

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of high quality nursing service on the compliance of breastfeeding in the patients carrying hepatitis B virus. Methods:150 patients carrying hepatitis B virus(HBV)(selected from January 2010 to August 2011)were taken as the control group and other 150 patients carrying HBV(September 2011 to March 2013)were taken as the observation group. The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were provided high quality nursing service,the nursing effect was compared between the two groups. Results:The rate of breastfeeding,early sucking and contact was higher in the obser-vation group than the control group(P < 0. 05);the satisfaction of nursing care was superior in the observation group to the control group (P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The high quality nursing service can improve the compliance of breastfeeding in the patients carrying HBV and the satisfaction of nursing care as well.
