Abstract:Objective:To explore nursing methods and investigate the effect in the treatment of patients at the advanced age and in high- risk by transurethral resection of prostate. Methods:100 patients undergoing transurethral resection of prostate were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group(50 cases in each group). The conventional nursing measures were implemented in the con-trol group;the comprehensive nursing measures such as psychological care, behavior guidance and symptomatic nursing were adopted in the experimental group based on the routine one. The incidence of complications was compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of complications was lower in the experimental group than the control group and the difference was statistically significant between the two groups(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The reasonable nursing measures should be chosen in the transurethral resection of prostate for the patients at the advanced age and in high - risk, the proper psychological guidance can effectively reduce the incidence of complications and it is conducive to postoperative recovery of the patients.
