Abstract:Objective:To discuss the effect of the extended nursing intervention on the medication compliance, social function and quali-ty of life of the convalescent patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)treated with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI. ). Meth-ods:80 CHD patients who received PCI treatment were randomly divided into the study group and the control group(40 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was taken in the control group and the extended nursing intervention was adopted in the study group, the medication compliance, social function and quality of life of the patients between the two groups were scored and compared by using Morn-ingside rehabilitation status scale(MRSS),social disability screening scale(SDSS),China cardiovascular patient quality of life assess-ment questionnaire(CCQQ)and medication compliance scale before and after nursing care. Results:After nursing care for 6 months, the medication compliance of the patients was significantly better in the study group than the control group(P < 0. 01);the scores of CCQQ significantly increased after nursing care compared with those before nursing care in the two groups(P < 0. 05),and these were obviously higher in the study group than the control group(P <0. 05);the total score of MRSS,ADL,dependency level, social ability, the symptoms and SDSS scores were significantly lower and better in the study group than the control group(P <0. 05). Conclusion:The extended nursing care can effectively improve the exercise tolerance, social function and quality of life of CHD patients so as to promote their rehabilitation.
