Application of comfort nursing intervention in patients with cirrhotic ascites complicated with hyponatremia

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of comfort nursing intervention in cirrhotic ascites complicated with hyponatrem-ia. Methods:84 patients with cirrhotic ascites complicated with hyponatremia were randomly divided into the observation group and the con-trol group(42 cases in each group). The patients in the observation group were given comfort nursing intervention and the patients in the control group were given routine nursing care. The change of ascites,patient satisfaction and the serum sodium level of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the change of ascites and pa-tient satisfaction between the two groups(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:The comfort nursing intervention on patients with cirrhotic ascites compli-cated with hyponatremia can not only reduce the degree of ascites of the patients,but also significantly improve the satisfaction and the ser-um sodium level of the patients.
