Survey and analysis of self-efficacy and quality of life of the patients in different period after CABG
Abstract:Objective:To investigate and analyze the status and change of self-efficacy and quality of life of the patients in different pe-riod after coronary artery bypass grafting( CABG)in order to provide theoretical basis for the improvement of the patientˊs quality of life. Methods:The tracking survey was conducted to investigate the quality of life and self-efficacy of 88 selected patients( June 2011 to July 2013)respectively in 2 and 12 weeks(before discharged from hospital)after the operation and the correlation was analyzed. Results:The average scores of self-efficacy of the patients with CABG were lower than those of normal people after operation for 2 weeks(P﹤0. 05), but no significant differences compared with normal people after operation for 12 weeks(P﹥0. 05);the average scores of self-efficacy of the patients were significantly different after operation for 2 weeks compared with those after operation for 12 weeks(P﹤0. 05);the total score of life quality was significantly different after operation for 6 week compared with that after operation for 12 weeks(P﹤0. 05);the bodily pain,social function,physical health and role physical was worse and poor after operation for 2 weeks and significantly improved af-ter operation for 12 weeks(P﹤0. 05);the score of self-efficacy and the score of life quality of the patients were positively correlated(r=0. 453,P﹤0. 01). Conclusion:The early intervention can improve the level of self-efficacy and the quality of life of the patients.
