Abstract：Objective:To explore the influence of the individualized psychological intervention on the coping style of the parents of chil-dren with refractory immune thrombocytopenia( ITP). Methods:124 parents of children with intractable ITP were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group(62 parents in each group). The parents in the control group were only given common nursing in-struction and the parents in the experimental group were provided the individualized psychological counseling for 6 months. The question-naire survey was conducted by using the self-rating anxiety scale( SAS),self-rating depression scale( SDS)and the medical coping modes questionnaire( MCMQ)and the data were analyzed before and after the intervention. Results:The scores of SAS and SDS were lower after the intervention than those before the intervention in the experimental group(P﹤0. 05)and the score of avoidance was lower than that before the intervention(P﹤0. 05);the score of confrontation was higher after the intervention than that before the intervention(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:The individualized psychological intervention can effectively relieve the negative emotion and improve the coping style in the parents of children with refractory ITP.
