Effect of cognitive nursing intervention on quality of life in patients with sinusitis operation

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of cognitive nursing intervention on quality of life in patients with sinusitis operation. Meth_ods:100 patients undergoing nasal endoscopic operation for the treatment of chronic sinusitis were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(50 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was given to the patients in the control group and the cog_nitive nursing intervention was additionally implemented in the observation group. The nursing effect was compared between the two groups. Results:The postoperative complication was significantly less and hospitalization time was shorter in the observation group than the control group(P<0. 05);the nursing satisfaction rate was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P<0. 05);the scores of life quality like self—care,mental health and social function of the patients were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion:The cognitive nursing intervention can improve the self—care ability of the patients,reduce the postoperative complications and improve the postoperative quality of life of the patients.
