Application of the evidence-based management model of modern operation room to nursing practice in the operation room

Abstract:Objective:To probe into the effect of applying the evidence—based management model of modern operation room to nursing practice in the operation room. Methods:450 selected patients( Jan. to Dec. in 2011,before implementing evidence—based nursing care) were taken as the control group;other 550 patients(Jan. to Dec. in 2012,after implementing evidence—based nursing care)were taken as the observation group. The patientsˊsatisfaction,doctorsˊsatisfaction,error rate and the score of nursing quality were observed and compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group,the patientsˊand doctorsˊsatisfaction improved significantly,the error rate reduced obviously,operation—related index improved significantly and the score of nursing quality increased significantly in the observation group,the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0. 05). Conclusion:The nursing personnel in the operation room can scientifically and effectively formulate nursing plan through implementation of the evidence—based nursing management model of modern operation room so as to improve the overall nursing quality in the operation room.
