Application of health education in patients with acute pancreatitis associated with CHD

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of health education in patients with acute pancreatitis associated with coronary heart disease( CHD). Methods:60 patients with acute pancreatitis associated with CHD were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(30 cases in each group). The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were provided extra health education. The psychological status of the patients was scored by using SAS and SDS in the two groups before and after the intervention,and the patientˊs awareness of health knowledge,confidence,the up-to-standard rate of health education and satisfaction with nursing care were compared between the two groups. Results:The SAS and SDS scores were lower af-ter the intervention than those before the intervention in the observation group(P<0. 05);the patientˊs awareness rate of health knowl-edge,confidence,the up-to-standard rate of health education and satisfaction rate were higher in the observation group than the control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion:Health education can effectively relieve anxiety and depression of patients with acute pancreatitis associated with CHD,it can increase the patientˊs awareness rate of health knowledge,shorten the hospitalization time and improve the patientˊs satis-faction.
