Application of micro-skil training method in improving the emergency response capacity of young nurses in the emergency department

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the application effect of micro-skill training method in improving the emergency response capacity of young nurses in the emergency department. Methods:30 young nurses who have worked less than 5 years in the emergency department of our hospital received micro-skill training,the comprehensive abilities of the nurses were assessed and the satisfaction of 150 doctors and 150 patients were respectively surveyed before and after the training. Results:The nursesˊabilities of finding and solving problems,operation ability in the emergency treatment and writing quality of nursing records obviously improved after the training compared with those before the training(P<0. 05);the value of anxiety of the nurses significantly decreased after the training compared with that before the training (P<0. 05);the satisfaction rate of doctors and patients increased significantly after the training than that before the training(P<0. 05). Conclusion:The micro-skill training method in the systematic emergency training can greatly improve the ability of nurses in response to emergency in critical situations within a short time and can enhance the nursesˊconfidence in the work.
