lmpact of the integrated psychological therapy on mental health status and change of conditions of patients with chronic eczema
Abstract:Objective:To explore the impact of the integrated psychological therapy on mental health status and change of conditions of patients with chronic eczema. Methods:52 patients with chronic eczema were randomly divided into the intervention group(n=25)and the control group(n=27). The integrated psychological therapy was adopted in the intervention group;only telephone follow-up was conduc-ted one time every 2 weeks and no psychological intervention was implemented in the control group. The scores of SAS and SDS and the as-sessment results of patientsˊconditions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of SAS and SDS scores between the two groups before treatment(P<0. 01);the SAS and SDS scores of all the patients were positively correlated with severity of lesions(EASI)and severity of pruritus(VAS)(P<0. 01);SAS,SDS, EASI and VAS scores significantly decreased in the intervention group after treatment and the differences between the two groups were sta-tistically significant(P<0. 05,P<0. 01). Conclusion:The integrated psychotherapy based on medication can effectively relieve the bad mood of patients and mitigate the symptoms of the disease so as to promote patientˊs rehabilitation.
