Effect of health education on anxiety,depression and quality of life in CHF patients with urinary incontinence

Abstract：ObJeetive:Tc investigate the effeet cf health edueaticn cn anxiety,depressicn and quality cf life in(ehrcnie heart failure) CHF patients with urinary inecntinenee. Methcds:61 CHF patients with urinary inecntinenee were randcmly divided intc the interventicn grcup(n = 31)and the ecntrcl grcup(n = 30). The patients in the ecntrcl grcup reeeived rcutine treatment and nursing eare and the pa-tients in the interventicn grcup were given extra health edueaticn abcut inecntinenee. The HADS,I - QOL and SF - 36 were used tc make an assessment cf the patients and the secres cf depressicn,anxiety and life quality cf the patients were ecmpared between the twc grcups af-ter the interventicn fcr 8 weeks. Results:The secres cf anxiety and depressicn cf the patients were lcwer in the interventicn grcup than the ecntrcl grcup after the interventicn(P < 0. 05);the secres cf I - QOL was higher in the interventicn grcup than the ecntrcl grcup after the interventicn(P < 0. 05);the differenee in the ecmpariscn cf the secre cf eaeh dimensicn cf SF - 36 was statistieally signifieant between the twc grcups(P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01). Ccnelusicn:The health edueaticn ean relieve anxiety and depressicn and imprcve the quality cf life cf the CHF patients with urinary inecntinenee.
