Observation on the effect of Z type injection method in intramuscular injection of progesterone

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of Z type injection method in intramuscular injection of progesterone. Methods:200 patients who received supportive treatment of progesterone after IVF-ET were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(100 cases in each group). Z type injection method was adopted in the observation group and the conventional injection method was used in the control group. The patients in both groups were given comprehensive nursing intervention before and after the injec-tion. The liquid exosmosis,degree of pain,local adverse reaction and fertilization success rate were compared between the two groups. Re-sults:The fertilization success rate was higher,the degree of pain and the incidence of liquid exosmosis and local adverse reaction were lower when Z type injection method was used,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0. 05,P<0. 01). Con-clusion:Application of Z type injection method can reduce liquid exosmosis and local adverse reaction so as to improve the pregnancy rate.
