Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application effect of evidence-based nursing in laryngeal function recovery of patients with glottic carcinoma after reconstruction operation. Methods:68 patients with glottic carcinoma treated in our hospital were randomly divided into the routine nursing group and the evidence-based nursing group(34 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was taken in the routine nursing group and the evidence-based nursing was adopted and implemented in the evidence-based nursing group according to the postoperative complications after tracheotomy, quality of life and mental state of the patients. The nursing effects were evaluated in the two groups. Results:Compared with those in the routine nursing group in 2 weeks after operation, the incidence of postoperative complica-tions after tracheotomy was lower, the postoperative quality of life was better and the mental state of the patients was more stable in the evi-dence-based nursing group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0. 05). Conclusion:The evidence-based nursing model implemented in the postoperative reconstruction of laryngeal function in patients with glottic carcinoma can significant-ly improve patient’s mental state and quality of life and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
