Clinical observation on the effect of detoxifying lotion in the treatment of 30 patients with skin ulcer

Abstract：Objective :To find the change of clinical symptoms of patients with skin ulcer before and after the use of detoxifying lotion in order to provide the theoretical basis for treatment of skin ulcer with detoxifying lotion .Methods :60 patients were ran-domly divided into the treatment group and the control group (30 cases in each group) .The detoxifying lotion was made of coarse powder of herbs by decocting with water .In the treatment group ,the surface of wound of the patients was first fumigated above the boiling detoxifying lotion for 10 minutes and then the wound was washed out with detoxifying lotion when it was at 45 ℃ ,and pus and putrid tissues were debrided one time per day and the course lasted 2 weeks .In the control group ,75% ethanol and normal saline was used for wound disinfection and debridement ,the treatment course was the same as that in the treatment group .Results :There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the total effectual rate and the total effective rate between the two groups (P<0 .05) .Conclusion :Detoxifying lotion has the satisfactory clinical efficacy in the treatment of (damp-heat type) skin ulcer .
