Application of the extended nursing care in the treatment of patients with chronic atrial fibril ation by Warfarin anticoagulation
Abstract：Objective :To investigate the effect of the extended nursing care in the treatment of patients with chronic atrial fibril-lation by Warfarin anticoagulation .Methods :120 patients with oral Warfarin for the treatment of chronic atrial fibrillation were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (60 cases in each group) .The patients in the control group re-ceived conventional health education and the patients in the observation group were given extra extended nursing care based on the conventional health education ,the nursing effects were compared between the two groups .Results :The scores of compliance behav-ior and understanding of health knowledge and satisfaction rate were higher in the observation group than the control group (P<0 .01 ,P<0 .05);the incidence of mild complications and the total rate of complications was lower in the observation group than the control group (P<0 .05) .Conclusion :The extended nursing care can promote the compliance behavior of the patients ,reduce the incidence of complications and improve patient satisfaction in the treatment of chronic atrial fibrillation with Warfarin anticoagula-tion .
