Comprehensive nursing intervention on 40 patients with functional delayed gastric emptying after pancreatoduodenectomy

Abstract：Objective :To explore the method and effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in patients with functional delayed gastric emptying after pancreaticoduodenectomy .Methods :96 patients with functional delayed gastric emptying (from August 2010 to December 2011) were taken as the control group and other 40 patients treated from January 2012 to June 2013 were taken as the intervention group .The routine nursing care was given to the patients in the control group and the comprehensive nursing interven-tion was additionally provided for the patients in the intervention group ,the nursing effects were compared between the two groups .Results :There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of hospitalization time ,SAS score ,the score of Kolcaba scale and patient satisfaction between the two groups (P<0 .05 ,P<0 .01) .Conclusion :The comprehensive nursing inter-vention on patients with functional delayed gastric emptying after pancreatoduodenectomy can shorten hospitalization time ,relieve bad mood and increase satisfaction rate of the patients .
