Effect of "happy camp" rehabilitation model on the social function of hospitalized patients with schizophrenia

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of "happy camp" rehabilitation model on the social function of hospitalized patients with schizophrenia. Methods:100 hospitalized patients with schizophrenia were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group(50 cases in each group). The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and the "happy camp" rehabilitation model was additionally implemented in the intervention group,the scores of NOSIE-40,SSPI and Calgary scale were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the comparison of the patientˊs so-cial ability,social interest,tidiness,irritability,psychosis performance,shrink and score of SSPI before and after the intervention in the in-tervention group(P<0. 01);the comparison of the patientˊs interest,tidiness,irritability,psychosis performance,shrink and score of SSPI was significantly different between the two groups(P<0. 01). Conclusion:The“happy camp“ rehabilitation model has a positive effect on the recovery of the social function of hospitalized patients with schizophrenia.
