Effect of systematic nursing intervention on postoperative recovery and quality of life of patients with pulmonary lobectomy by VATS

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of systematic nursing intervention on postoperative recovery and quality of life of patients with pulmonary lobectomy by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery( VATS). Methods:80 patients who underwent VATS for pulmonary lo-bectomy were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(40 cases in each group). The patients in the control group received routine nursing care and the patients in the observation group were addtionally provided the systematic nursing intervention. The treatment compliance,postoperative complications and quality of life of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:The treatment compliance of the patients was significantly better and the incidence of complications was significantly lower in the observa-tion group than the control group(P〈0. 05);the score of QLQ-C30 was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P〈0. 05). Conclusion:The systematic nursing intervention can significantly improve the treatment compliance,reduce the inci-dence of complications and improve the quality of life of patients with pulmonary lobectomy.
