Effect of early psychological nursing intervention on the change of psychological state of patients with acute cerebral infarction

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of early psychological nursing intervention on the change of psychological state of patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods:120 patients with the first episode of acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into the con-trol group and the observation group(60 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was taken in the control group and the eXtra early psychological nursing intervention was implemented in the observation group. The level of anXiety and depression,patient’s awareness rate of stroke-related knowledge,treatment compliance,self management ability and regular eXercise of the patients were observed in the two groups before and after treatment. Results:The scores of anXiety and depression significantly decreased after nursing care compared with those before nursing care in the two groups(P<0. 05);the scores of anXiety and depression were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group after nursing care(P<0. 05);the awareness rate of stroke-related knowledge,treatment compliance,self management ability and regular eXercise of the patients were significantly higher and better in the observation group than the control group (P<0. 01,P<0. 05). Conclusion:The early psychological nursing intervention is one of effective measures in the nursing care of patients with cerebral infarction according to the change of psychological state of the patients.
