Abstract:Objective:To study the influence of PDCA cycle based nursing care on the quality of life of patients with hepatitis B virus ( HBV)infection. Methods:84 patients with HBV infection were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(42 cases in each group). The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care;the PDCA cycle based nursing care was implemented in the observation group. The self - designed questionnaire about liver disease and CLDQ were used to evaluate the awareness of liver disease - related knowledge and quality of life of the patients before and after the intervention. Results:The awareness rate of eXercise knowledge ,dietary knowledge,disease monitoring and medication knowledge and the total score were higher in the observation group than the control group after the intervention(P <0. 05). The total score of CLDQ and the score of each dimension were higher in the observation group than the control group after the intervention(P <0. 05). Conclusion:The PDCA cycle based nursing care can effectively improve patient’s understanding of HBV disease,relieve their anXiety and improve the quality of life.
