Application of nursing intervention in the treatment of severe patients in the department of neurosurgery

Abstract:Objective:To study the clinical application of nursing intervention in the treatment of severe patients in the department of neurosurgery. Methods:256 patients treated in the department of neurosurgery in our hospital were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group(128 cases in each group). The comprehensive and systematic nursing intervention and routine nursing care were respectively implemented in the two groups. ADL and motor function recovery of the patients,the nursing quality and life quality of the patients were evaluated in both groups. Results:The Barthel scores were higher in the intervention group(89. 53 ± 13. 37)than the control group(75. 24 ± 12. 49);Fugl-Meyer score was 61. 52 ± 9. 36 in the intervention group and significantly higher than the control group (41. 39 ± 9. 27);the total scores of nursing quality were 91. 9 ± 3. 5 and 64. 3 ± 4. 4 respectively in the intervention group and the control group and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P﹤0. 05);the scores of life quality of the patients were 73.52±9.08and68.64±8.87respectivelyintheinterventiongroupandthecontrolgroupafternursingintervention(P﹤0.05).Con-clusion:The nursing intervention plays a very important role in the treatment of severe patients in the department of neurosurgery,and it can effectively alleviate the patient′s condition,improve motor function and quality of life of the patients.
