Analysis of the causes leading to postoperative pain after surgery for senile cataract and targeted nursing intervention

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the causes leading to postoperative pain after surgery for senile cataract and explore the targeted nurs-ing intervention. Methods:1 390 patients with postoperative pain after surgery for senile cataract were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(695 cases in each group). Analysis of the leding to postoperative pain after surgery. The patients in the con-trol group were given routine postoperative nursing care and the patients in the observation group were given targeted nursing intervention according to the causes leading to postoperative pain based on the routine one,the visual acuity,the degree of pain,degree of comfort and satisfaction rate of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:There were statistically significant differences in the com-parison of the visual acuity,the degree of pain,degree of comfort and satisfaction rate of the patients between the two groups(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:Implementation of the targeted nursing intervention can improve the visual acuity,relieve postoperative pain and improve the comfort and satisfaction of the elderly patients with cataract surgery.
