Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application effect of comfort nursing care in the prevention of the adverse reaction after total knee arthroplasty. Methods:80 patients with total knee replacement were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group ( 40 cases in each group). The routine nursing measures were taken in the control group and comfort nursing intervention was implemented in the observation group based on the routine one. The VAS pain score at different time points and the incidence of adverse reaction of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:The VAS pain score at different time points after operation and the incidence of adverse reaction of the patients were significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:Implemen-tation of comfort nursing intervention can effectively alleviate postoperative pain, reduce the incidence of adverse reaction, promote the reha-bilitation of joint function of the patients undergoing total knee replacement and improve the quality of clinical nursing care as well.
