Psychological care in the treatment of 455 patients with mixed hemorrhoids by PPH

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the curative effect of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids( PPH)and psychological care in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods:910 patients who received PPH were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group(455 cases in each group). The patients in the control group were given routine nursing care and the extra strengthened psychologi-cal care was provided for the patients in the observation group,the overall curative effect and healing time of wound of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:Following up for 6 months to 3 years after operation,the cure rate and the total effective rate was higher in the observation group than the control group and the healing time of wound was shorter in the observation group than the control group(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:The good psychological care can promote wound healing and improve the therapeutic effect in the treatment of patients with mixed hemorrhoids.
