Application of early functional exercise in patients after total hip arthroplasty
Abstract:Objective:To explore the nursing method and investigate the effect of early functional exercise in patients after total hip ar-throplasty. Methods:74 patients who underwent total artificial hip joint replacement in our hospital were randomly divided into the experi-mental group and the control group(37 cases in each group). The routine nursing intervention was implemented in the control group and the early functional exercise was adopted in the experimental group,the incidence of complications was observed in the two groups. Re-sults:The incidence of complications was 2. 7% in the experimental group and 27% in the control group;the postoperative SF-36 scores oflifequalitywere74.81±16.points in experimental group and 48. 72 ±12. 77 points in the control group(P ﹤0. 05). Conclusion: The early functional exercise combined with targeted nursing measures can have the patients get early ambulation and can improve the quality of life and reduce the occurrence of complications in patients after total hip arthroplasty.
