Effect of individuaIized humanistic nursing on the compIications of eIderIy patients with hypertension

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of individualized humanistic nursing on the complications of elderly patients with hyper-tension. Methods:128 elderly patients with hypertension were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group(64 cases in each group). The routine nursing care was given to the patients in the control group and the individualized humanistic nursing was im-plemented in the observation group. The effect of blood pressure control and complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The DBP and SBP were lower in the observation group than the control group after nursing care;the total effective rate of blood pressure control was higher and the incidence of complications was lower in the observation group than the control group after nursing care( P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:The individualized humanistic nursing can effectively control blood pressure of the elderly hypertensive patients and re-duce the incidence of complications.
