Application of the individualized nursing intervention on basic diseases in elderly patients with gynecological tumors

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of the individualized nursing intervention on basic diseases in elderly patients with gyneco-logical tumors. Methods:96 elderly patients with gynecological tumor were randomly divided into the study group and the control group(48 cases in each group). The routine perioperative nursing care was given to the patients in the control group;the targeted nursing intervention was implemented in the study group according to the preoperative basic diseases of the patients. The incidence of postoperative complica-tions of the patients and hospitalization time were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of postoperative complications of the patients was significantly lower in the study group(8. 3%)than the control group(25%)(P﹤0. 05);the hospitalization time was significantly shorter in the study group than the control group(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:The individualized nursing intervention on basic dis-eases in elderly surgical patients with gynecological tumors can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and shorten the hospi-talization time.
