Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of social communication skill training on schizophrenic patients. Methods:38 schizo-phrenic patients admitted to hospital from January to December 2011 were taken as the control group and conventional medication and nurs-ing care was implemented in this group;other 36 schizophrenic patients admitted to hospital from January to December 2012 were taken as the study group and the social communication skill training was additionally carried out in this group. PANSS,SAFE and SSC were used to make an assessment of the patients and the results were compared between the two groups one day before the intervention and at the end of 3 and 6 months after the intervention. Results:At the end of 3 and 6 months after the intervention,PANSS negative symptoms and total score were lower in the study group than the control group(P﹤0. 05);SSC and SAFE scores were higher in the study group than those in the control group at the end of 3 and 6 months after the intervention(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:The social communication skill training can improve the social function and prognosis of schizophrenic patients.
