lnvestigation on the psychological disorders of nursing staff in emergency department of Grade lll Class A hospitals in Weifang city

Abstract：Objective:To investigate 120 nurses working in the emergency department of 4 Grade III Class A hospitals in Weifang city and understand the current situation of the psychological disorders of the nurses in order to put forward the corresponding measures to solve these psychological problems. Methods:The symptom checklist -90(SCL-90)was used to evaluate the mental health of these 120 nurses and determine their psychological status. The scores of various symptoms were achieved and compared with the national norm. Results:The total scores of SCL-90 of 120 nurses and the scores of 9 factors were higher than the national norm(P﹤0. 01);age was the most impor-tant factor to influence the values of factors in the comprison of anxiety and hostility factors,the values of anxiety,obsession and compulsion factors decreased as age increased(P﹤0. 01). Conclusion:The nurses in the emergency department generally have psychological problems and the problems can be solved by adopting comprehensive measures.
