Abstract：Objective:To explore the influence of the individualized nursing intervention on the psychological status of Empty Nesters. Methods:70 Empty Nesters who were tested positive by the symptom checklist in a certain community of Shanghai city were taken as the object of study,and the individualized nursing intervention was provided for them for 48 weeks. And then the patients′conditions were as-sessed by SCL-90 every 12 weeks and the mental status of the patients in different period was compared. Results:After the implementa-tion of the individualized nursing intervention,the differences in the comparison of the scores of SCL-90,the total average scores and the scores of 10 factors were statistically significant at different time point(P﹤ 0. 05),and the scores decreased with the increase of time. Con-clusion:The individualized nursing intervention can improve the psychological status of Empty Nesters and their psychological symptoms al-leviate with the change of time.
