Effect of the standardized perioperative nursing care on the patients in the treatment of calcaneal fracture by ORlF with Titanium plate

Abstract：Objective:Toinvestigatetheeffectofthestandardizedperioperativenursingcareonthepostoperativeoutcomeandcomplica-tions of the patients in the treatment of calcaneal fracture by open reduction internal fixation( ORIF)with Titanium plate. Methods:30 pa-tients treated from January 2010 to January 2012 were randomly selected and taken as the control group,the patients in this group were giv-en routine treatment and nursing care;other 36 patients treated from March 2012 to August 2013 were taken as the observation group and the standardized perioperative nursing care was adopted in this group. The postoperative curative effect and complications of the patients were compared between the two groups. Results:The excellent and good rate of postoperative clinical curative effect,Philips score of ankle joint and HSS score of knee joint were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P﹤0. 05);the incidence of complications was significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:Implementation of the stand-ardized perioperative nursing care can significantly improve the clinical curative effect,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and it is more conducive to the postoperative recovery of joint function.
