Effect of nursing intervention on the anesthesia recovery period in hyperthyroidism patients with endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia

Abstract：Objective:Toexploretheeffectofnursinginterventionontheanesthesiarecoveryperiodinhyperthyroidismpatientswithen-dotracheal intubation under general anesthesia. Methods:226 patients who would receive hyperthyroidism operation were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group(113 cases in each group). The conventional nursing methods for the patients with hyper-thyroidism operation were used in the control group and nursing intervention was additionally implemented before operation and during an-esthesia recovery period in the observation group. The satisfaction rate of the patients and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The satisfaction rate of the patients with nursing care was significantly higher in the observation group than the control group(P﹤0. 05);there was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of the incidence of incision hem-orrhage after operation between the two groups(P﹥0. 05);the incidence of severe agitation of the patients was significantly lower in the observation group than the control group(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion:Nursing intervention can stabilize the mood of patients with hyperthyroid-ism,improve cooperation degree of the patients in extubation and help patients smoothly get through the anesthesia recovery period.
