Investigation on the current situation of sociaI avoidance and distress in femaIe nursing undergraduates
Abstract：Objective:Toinvestigatethecurrentsituationofsocialavoidanceanddistressinfemalenursingundergraduatesandanalyze the influencing factors in order to provide a theoretical basis for psychological counseling and mental health instruction. Methods:The clus-ter stratified random sampling method was used to select 272 female nursing undergraduates from a certain medical college and a question-naire survey was conducted. Results:The scores of SADS in female nursing undergraduates were 11. 74 ± 6. 05 points and higher than 9.89±6. 06 points of the national norm( P ﹤ 0. 01);the main factors affecting the avoidance and distress in female nursing undergraduates were the social position in the class,be in love,self - confidence,appearance satisfaction,etc.( P ﹤0. 01);the factors like the position in the class,self - confidence,restriction in public and the ability to handle things had prediction effect on the social avoidance and distress in female nursing undergraduates(P ﹤0. 01). Conclusion:The female nursing undergraduates have the certain social avoidance and distress, therefore the nursing educators should strengthen guidance and education and encourage them participate in social activities actively and improve their social skills.
