AppIication of the comprehensive and designabIe experimentaI course in the“pediatric nursing”teaching
Abstract：Objective:Toexploretheapplicationofthecomprehensiveanddesignableexperimentalcourseinthe“pediatricnursing”teaching and to evaluate the effect of teaching. Methods:89 selected undergraduates( enrolled in 2010)of nursing faculty were randomly divided into the experimental group(n=43)and the control group(n=46). The traditional experimental teaching method was used in the control group;the comprehensive and designable experimental course was adopted in the experimental group. The students’practical abili-ties were compared between the two groups and the experiences of the students in the development of the comprehensive and designable ex-perimental course were collected and analyzed in the experimental group. Results:The average scores of the student’s skill examination were significantly higher in the experimental group than the control group(P﹤0. 01);most students in the experiment group accepted this experimental course. Conclusion:The comprehensive and designable experimental course in the“pediatric nursing”teaching can signifi-cantly improve the learning effect of the students.
